The XP15 Expander enables NMEA 0183 talkers to drive multiple listeners where
necessary. It provides a single opto-isolated input and four RS-422 outputs plus a fifth RS-232 output.
A status LED flashes when input is detected and also shows overload conditions.
The DX28 Dual Expander is a 2-channel signal distribution box for
NMEA 0183 signals. It can be configured as two 1-in x 4-out expanders, a single 1-in x 8-out expander, or an
autoswitching unit. The two inputs are completely independent (except in Autoswitch mode) and can operate at
the same or different baud rates up to 38,400.
